The Whisker Gang, led by Polly the Persian Cat, teach Jax the importance of never giving up! When times get tough or a task seems too difficult to complete, The Whisker Gang teaches young readers that we have everything we need within us to achieve our goals and overcome any obstacles in our way if we just keep trying and believe in ourselves.

Jax realizes that getting his furry friends to eat well can be an uphill struggle. The same can be said for parents and their children.  The sooner we introduce wholesome, nutritious choices, the easier it is to develop a healthy relationship with food that can last a lifetime. With the simple tips found in The Whisker Gang Eats Healthy, we learn healthy eating habits!

Jax and the gang decide to visit a local ice-skating rink during winter break. This being Jax’s first time, he discovers that ice skating is more slippery than he thought it would be…and maybe a little embarrassing. But with the help of a newfound friend, Jax learns that he doesn’t have to glide into skating perfectly. As long as he is willing to get back up and try, try again, he can HAVE FUN while learning!

A percentage of the royalties of this book is being donated to  Figure Skating in Harlem, a nonprofit which helps girls of color transform their lives and grow in confidence, 
leadership and academic achievement.

Polly, the crew, and Jax come in contact with a bunch of bullies known as The Reptilian Squad. When the menacing members of this squad threaten to keep The Whisker Gang from having fun at their favorite playground, the furry friends and Jax give young readers advice on things you can do to keep yourself and the kids you know safe from bullying.

Swimming is lots of fun for people of all ages, and children especially love getting in the water and enjoying themselves. So, when The Whisker Gang learned that their best buddy Jax didn't know how to swim, they sprang into action to teach him! Polly the Persian Cat, Drake the Dog and Bonnie the Bear know that swimming is not just fun, it also provides loads of benefits which can help to keep us healthy and happy.

Going back to school after summer break can be daunting and even boring. Sometimes you need some inspiration to make going back to school fun again. The Whisker Gang Has Fun at School helps Jax have fun on his first day by encouraging him to participate in various activities, socialize with friends, and making sure he’s prepared every day.
